About Tickalot
Updated
Tickalot is a list app for two people who share a home. One of you writes the shopping list and the other ticks items off in the shop. Each tick shows on both phones within a second or two.
Why it exists
Paste a list into a chat and you get a copy. The one in the shop can't tick it off, and the one at home can't add the milk that just ran out. Tickalot gives you one list that you both edit. You share it with a link, and the other person doesn't need an account.
What it does
- Shopping lists give each item an emoji and a section, in the aisle order of your store.
- Prices from Coles and Woolworths show under each item.
- Packing lists get copied for each trip.
- Things to see in a town come from Wikipedia, split into days.
- Voice turns "milk, eggs and bread" into three items.
The app speaks English and Russian. Your lists stay on your phone until you share one.
Who makes it
Oleg Chibikov builds Tickalot by himself.
